Quinquennial and End of Decade Awards
In celebration of 5 successful years of MFFL, here are the top awards of our first 5 seasons. Let's commemorate the best moments and memories of the league's first 5 seasons as we look forward to another great 5, and more, into the next decade!
MFFL Best of the Best MVP
The greatest individual honor, celebrating the single most valuable player across all 5 seasons, is awarded to RB Derrick Henry and his epic playoff run in 2018 in which he led GM David's Belicheck Yo Self to their first League Championship. Originally touted as a dissapointing 3rd round pick during the regular season, RB Henry exploded throughout the fantasy playoffs for 500 total yards and 7 TDs through 3 games.

MFFL Team of the Decade
2018's season was dominated by our Team of the Decade, Mr. Nice Guy. Led by mastermind GM Grafton, the Nice Guys bullied the league with a 10-3 record to clinch the #1 seed, while also breaking the single season scoring  record with 1640 points. Although ultimately falling short in the MFFL Championship, the people's champion and his group of Nice Guys certainly earned their place in the MFFL HOF for a truly memorable season.

MFFL Icon Award
The league's first offline draft was conducted in commencement of the 2016 season. Hosted by inaugural champion, GM Connor, the live in person draft was voted as the most iconic and culture defining moment of MFFL's first 5 years. Quickly becoming a yearly tradition for the reigning champion to host the draft, the annual offline draft has been often touted as the best night of fantasy.

MFFL Meme of the Decade
DTDB
an acronym that needs no explanation and no definitive interpretation. Originally created as part of GM Connor's team name, this meme quickly became a fan favorite and even saw time as a weekly award. While this acronym can be interpretated any way you like, here is a quick sample of one way they just might be oriented.

MFFL Manager of the Decade
Our final Quinquennial Award commemorates the league's most successful manager: GM Ian

Ian has made the playoffs 4 out of 5 seasons, medaling in 3 of his appearances with a 3rd place finish along with 2 MFFL Championships. Currently the only manager with his name on the Ballzac Trophy twice, GM Ian will certainly be looking to continue his success into the next 5 seasons and beyond.
