Weekly Awards
Check back every week to see who won what!
Oh Boy! Play of the Week:
While there are a couple of candidates for this award with GM David’s Kyler Murray absolutely slinging it and GM Darren’s Antonio Brown playing like his old self, it’s impossible for the aforementioned GM Matt to not receive this award for sticking it to the whole league with Kupp propelling him to a last chance victory. If you can’t tell, I also really like Cooper Kupp.

Murphy Mixup:
GM David ran away with this award this week with the benching of Rob Gronkowski’s 22.50 and D’Andre Swift’s 17.90. Considering he lost his matchup by simply 7 points, GM David has to be kicking himself. The bright side of this tragic mistake is that Belichick Yo Self seems to have some pretty good options to work with moving forward considering he scored the 4th highest in the league with so many points on his bench. I guess we’ll find out in the weeks to come.
WTF Waiver Wire:
The largest ever FAAB bid in the history of MFFL was claimed this week as GM Michael of Romanian RAPOs (0-1) added RB Elijah Missile to his RB room for $67. GM Michael has invested roughly 67% of the RAPOs funds on an unproven rookie drafted in only the 6th round in a murky backfield. Nevertheless, this risky play bears a fascinating potential if RB Mitchell does become the "league-winner" GM Michael has shown he believes in. This waiver wire pick up will without a doubt be revisited at the end of the season, and countless times throughout, as other managers decide if they missed out on a top RB free agent, or if they dodged a FAAB bullet and left GM Michael with the bill.

Crackhead of the Week:
This should serve as no surprise to anyone, but GM Darren of the JK Juke Jammers (check out the logo, it’s sick) headlines this award once again. Prior to kickoff time on Sunday Darren had already made 11 roster moves. Part of this appears to be some sort of coping mechanism with his early loss of the team’s namesake, as we saw him toggle between the likes of Royce Freeman, Wayne Gallman, LeVeon Bell, Millbrook legend Larry Rountree III and finally settling on RB Tony Jones Jr. and Latavius Murray. Why does Darren do things like this? Because when it comes to fantasy, sometimes he’s a crackhead.
Defensive Coordinator of the Week:
Although the Murphy Mixup crippled what could have been a huge victory for the RAPOs, GM Michael's defensive scheme kept the game within striking distance. Opposing QB Allen erupted for 42 points on over 400 passing yards and 3 TDs which could have put the game far and well away for the Assassins. However, the perfectly executed Dime Defense from the RAPOs was able to limit Allen's production by 13 points, giving GM Michael a late Monday night chance to steal the victory.
